Digital media has advanced so far that we are now able use the internet as a platform for communication. Before technology toke the world by storm, recipes were shared through experimentation and face to face communication. Now most people do not need to create new recipes or even take the time to go their neighbour and get that recipe that they have been dying to try out. Instead we can simply go online and with a few clicks; find an array of recipes with detailed ingredients and steps to create a work of art in our own homes. The internet is a great resource as consumers do not need to spend money on print magazines. Online food blogs and recipes allow individuals to post opinions and give their vote on how the recipe turned out. With this type of convenience, it is no surprise that people have become somewhat seemingly obsessed with social media.
